We left behind Hamburg and led to a small town called Schwerin, as recommended by Lonely Planet. A small charming and worth a visit. It is located in an area full of lakes, so many people can not agree on the number. The biggest attraction is to be the castle of Schwerin, more like a place, but no good anyway. It is huge and right on the main lake, very ornate.
After wandering around the local market and eat a bratwurst and currywurst (sausage with curry very tasty!) We watched the small town, and decided on a boat cruise around the lake. It was nice and relaxed to 20 children aged 10 years came on too! We had a beer with lemon, which was nice and refreshing and watched the scenery for an hour or two and trees in the sun.
We decided to drive to La¼beck this afternoon, should continue to go so much to see. We could not find the camper stop there so just camped in a parking lot next to the city center. Had no problems during the night and went exploring the next day. This is another charming old town with lots of green bell out of him.
The old town of its self is not very big, and took a solitary few hours to wander through. Nothing stood out as too unbelievable, but the door of the old city / fortress was rather old and cool, and the old hospital which was one of the first in Europe was rather interesting. The hospital was put in what you might describe as a large hall with a church attached. The interior was a huge cavernous roof, with lots of tiny little pieces of wood. I tell you, you think you have enough room in the halls today, you could install four of the rooms inside one of the rooms on the T15!
We spent the night in a small place called bulk, near the Danish border. The drive was beautiful, through green fields and hills. There are fields of yellow flowers (if anyone knows what they are please let us know) so here are numerous. We saw them in France, but there is much more here, as far as you look at these fields mixture of yellow with green, it is beautiful. As we were near the coast, sometimes it would be a field of sea green, then blue, then yellow, it was a beautiful day to get here.
Camping is fun here, a large number of caravans are permanent, they have good high standard, with fences and pools of shadow and barbecues and drive means ..... he's mad, they masts with flags different at the top. I think they settled in the summer once they are here. It is on a beach and it is quiet nice, but nothing like the beaches at home. Remains cold for swimming, but we are in shorts and t-shirts mostly. Stop in Denmark today. Soon
